PACCAR PX-9 CM2350 (2013-17) Fault Code:292 PID:441 SPN:441 FMI:14 Auxiliary Temperature Sensor Input 1 – Special Instructions
Publicado por Diezel Solutions en
Reason:Auxiliary Temperature Sensor Input 1 – Special Instructions. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) auxiliary temperature sensor input has exeeded an OEM calibrated limit. Effect:Engine power derate. Circuit Description:The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has the option of wiring a temperature sensor input to the Cummins® engine control module (ECM). This input is intended for a variable resistance temperature sensor. Component Location:The OEM temperature sensor input and location will vary. Refer to the OEM service manual for sensor location. Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:This diagnostic runs continuously when the keyswitch is in the ON position. Conditions for Setting the Fault Codes:The Engine...
PACCAR PX-9 CM2350 (2013-17) Fault Code:293 PID:441 SPN:441 FMI:3 Auxiliary Temperature Sensor Input 1 Circuit – Voltage Above Normal or Shorted to High Source
Publicado por Diezel Solutions en
Reason:Auxiliary Temperature Sensor Input 1 Circuit – Voltage Above Normal or Shorted to High Source. High signal voltage detected at the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) auxiliary temperature circuit. Effect:None on performance Circuit Description:The OEM has the option of wiring a temperature sensor input to the Cummins® ECM. A specific calibration is then created to recognize this temperature sensor input. Component Location:The OEM temperature sensor input and location will vary. Refer to the OEM service manual for sensor location. Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:This diagnostic runs continuously when the keyswitch is in the ON position. Conditions for Setting the Fault Codes:The...

PACCAR PX-9 CM2350 (2013-17) Fault Code:295 PID:108 SPN:108 FMI:2 Barometric Pressure – Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect
Publicado por Diezel Solutions en
Reason:Barometric Pressure – Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect. An error in the barometric pressure sensor signal was detected by the ECM. Effect:Possible reduced engine performance. Circuit Description:The barometric pressure sensor responds to pressure changes in the atmospheric pressure. The pressure changes occur based on the elevation where the engine is presently operating. The barometric pressure sensor has a 5 volt supply circuit, a sensor signal voltage, and a return circuit. Component Location:The barometric pressure sensor is mounted on the main branch of the engine harness near the ECM. Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:1) The first part of the diagnostic runs...
PACCAR PX-9 CM2350 (2013-17) Fault Code:296 PID:443 SPN:1388 FMI:14 Auxiliary Pressure Sensor Input 2 – Special Instructions
Publicado por Diezel Solutions en
Reason:Auxiliary Pressure Sensor Input 2 – Special Instructions Effect:Possible reduced engine performance. Circuit Description:The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has the option of wiring a pressure or temperature sensor input to the Cummins® engine control module (ECM). A specific calibration is then created to recognize this pressure or temperature sensor input. This fault code is activated when the pressure or temperature input from the OEM sensor exceeds the engine protection limit defined by the OEM. Depending on OEM requirements, an Engine Protection derate can be associated with this fault code. Component Location:The OEM pressure sensor input and location will vary. Refer...
