Volvo All Engines (2013 Emissions) Fault Code: P25A911 PID: EMS Piston Cooling Oil Control

Circuit description
The engine piston cooling oil supply valve is located in the oil filter housing and is used to control the piston cooling oil pressure. The engine control module (ECM) controls the valve by monitoring the signal from the piston cooling oil pressure sensor. If an electrical fault is detected inside the valve it will be fully open (fail safe).

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
Output not activated
The voltage at pin A14.EB:41 is less than 33?% of the battery voltage

Diagnostic operating conditions
Ignition key in ON position

Probable cause
1) Short circuit to ground in the component or wiring
2) Piston Cooling Valve
