DESCRIPTION:This code sets when the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) inlet temperature is greater than 760 °C (1400 °F).

MONITORED PARAMETER:SCR inlet temperature sensor

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Non- Regen mode

MONITOR SEQUENCE:None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met

TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25%

NOTE: If code 3246-15 present, fix that first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. SCR inlet temperature sensor.2. SCR inlet temperature sensor connector/harness.
