Cummins X15 CM2350 X116B Performance Series (2018 & Newer) Fault Code: 7233 PID: SPN: 102 FMI: 1/1 Engine Intake Manifold Pressure – Data Valid But Below Normal Operating Range – Most Severe Level
Geplaatst door Diezel Solutions op
Lamp:Amber Reason:Intake manifold pressure is below the minimum operating limit. Effect:Possible reduced engine performance. Circuit Description:The Engine Control Module (ECM) provides a 5 volt supply to the intake manifold pressure sensor on the sensor supply circuit. The ECM also provides a ground on the sensor return circuit. The intake manifold pressure sensor provides a signal to the ECM on the intake manifold pressure sensor signal circuit. This sensor signal voltage changes based on the pressure in the intake manifold. Component Location:The intake manifold 1 pressure/temperature sensor is located in the air intake manifold. Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:1. This diagnostic...
Cummins X15 CM2350 X116B Performance Series (2018 & Newer) Fault Code: 7234 PID: SPN: 188 FMI: 1/17 Engine Speed At Idle – Data Valid But Below Normal Operating Range – Least Severe Level

Lamp:Amber Reason:Engine is not maintaining the governed idle speed. Effect:None on performance. Circuit Description:The Engine Control Module (ECM) continuously monitors the engine speed at idle and adjusts fueling to maintain governed idle speed. Component Location:The engine speed is monitored by the crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensors. Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:This diagnostic runs continuously when the engine is operating at idle and PTO is not active. Conditions for Setting the Fault Code:The Engine Control Module (ECM) detected the engine speed was 50 rpm below governed idle speed for 30 seconds. Action Taken When the Fault Code is Active:The ECM illuminates...

Cummins X15 CM2350 X116B Performance Series (2018 & Newer) Fault Code: 8633 PID: SPN: 12868 FMI: 13/13 TSC1 Control Purpose P7 Inhibit Command – Out of Calibration

Lamp:None Reason:The ECM expected information from a multiplexed device but only received a portion of the necessary information. Effect:At least one multiplexed device will not operate properly. Circuit Description:Normally, switches, accelerators, and other components are connected to the Engine Control Module (ECM) directly through individual wires. Multiplexing allows those same components to be hard wired to an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU) or transmission Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in the cab. Then component values and states from components such as sensors, accelerators, and switches can be transmitted from the OEM VECU to the OEM ECM over...
