the PAT Incal/Xcal Tool does it in a few clicks.

Five tools in one
Incal Extractor– Unpack the password-protected, AES-encrypted incal archives straight from your ESDN data folders. Browse by 3-character engine code or pick a file directly, view full calibration details, and extract single files or an entire engine family in one click (keep the original extension or save as .xcal/&cal).
File Converter– Convert an extracted xcal/.cal (Intel-HEX) calibration into a flat .bin image ready for tuning tools such as WinOLS. Choose the bin base and gap-fill byte; every record is checksum-verified and the address range, size, and record count are reported.
File Fetcher – Search the PAT calibration server by engine code or ECM code, preview calibration details, and download with optional automatic extraction – even on machines without a mapped network drive.
Repack Incal – Pack a modified .xcal back into a genuine incal that INCAL/INSITE accepts. Faithfully reproduces the original WinZip-AES (AE-1, AES-256) format and recomputes the archive integrity hash automatically. Includes an Intel-HEX checksum checker and one-click auto-correct for records broken during editing.
ESDN Date – View and edit the INCAL dataset date shown in INSITE (e.g. “April 2026”), with an automatic backup before any change.
