Volvo All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P026A00 PID: EMS Charge Air Cooler Efficiency Below Threshold

If the charge air cooler is clogged the charge air will not be cooled
Oil in the charge air cooler (CAC) indicates leakage at the turbocharger
Some vehicles may have a hole drilled in the lower connection pipe to the charge air cooler and to perform the leakage test it must be plugged

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Charge air temperature too high

Observable symptoms
1) High engine coolant temperature (ECT)
