Volvo All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P009500 PID: EMS Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 Bank 1

Circuit description
The Boost Air Temperature Sensor is used to monitor the temperature of the air in the intake system after the turbocharger. The sensor is a Negative Temperature Co-efficient (NTC) type temperature sensor.
The sensor signals are used to calculation fuel injection and is monitored by the Engine Control Module (ECM).
The engine control module (ECM) will set a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and derate the engine to avoid engine damage if the sensor signal is not within predetermined limits, or the signal is not rational.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
The voltage at pin A14.EA:47 is less than 0.15 V
Ignition key in ON position

Observable symptoms
Engine is running but could be difficult to start in cold conditions

Probable cause
1) Connector
2) Wiring harness
3) Intake manifold air temperature (IMAT) and pressure sensor
