PACCAR PX-8 CM2150 (2007-09) Fault Code: 427 PID: SID 231 SPN: 639 FMI: 9 J1939 Datalink – Abnormal Update Rate. Communication between the electronic control module (ECM) and another device on the SAE J1939 data link has been lost.
Publicado por Diezel Solutions en
Verify the electronic control module (ECM) calibration is correct. Check the calibration revision history found on QuickServe® Online for applicable fixes to the calibration stored in the ECM. If necessary, recalibrate the ECM. This fault occurs whenever the ECM has been receiving SAE J1939 datalink commands from an external OEM device and is no longer receiving the datalink commands. Possible causes of this fault include: 1)Electrical problems with the SAE J1939 data link wiring such as grounded, shorted, or open circuits2)The ECM (or another SAE J1939 device) tying up communications by sending too many consecutive messages3)The external OEM controlling device...
PACCAR PX-8 CM2150 (2007-09) Fault Code: 428 PID: 97 SPN: 97 FMI: 3 Water-in-Fuel Indicator Sensor Circuit – Voltage Above Normal or Shorted to High Source. High voltage detected at the water-in-fuel circuit.

Verify the electronic control module (ECM) calibration is correct. Check the calibration revision history found on QuickServe™ Online for applicable fixes to the calibration stored in the ECM. If necessary, calibrate the ECM. Possible causes: 1)Open return or signal circuit in the harness, connectors, or sensor2)Signal wire shorted to sensor supply or battery voltage. Possible repairs: 1)Clean the connector and pins.2)Replace the water-in-fuel sensor.3)The removal and installation of the connector may correct the fault.4)Repair or replace the engine harness.Replace the ECM. Verify the electronic control module (ECM) calibration is correct. Check the calibration revision history found on QuickServe® Online for applicable fixes to the calibration stored in the ECM. If necessary, recalibrate the ECM. 1)This fault code is usually caused by an open circuit on either the idle validation on-idle or the idle validation off-idle signal circuit, a loose connection, uncalibrated accelerator pedal or lever assembly, or miswired idle validation switch.2)When installing a new accelerator pedal or lever assembly, it must be calibrated before operating the engine. To calibrate the new accelerator pedal or lever assembly, turn the keyswitch to the...
