DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the aftertreatment control module (ACM) detects an open on the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) doser valve circuit. MONITORED PARAMETER:DEF dosing unit voltage. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:DEF dosing enabled then disabled. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:50 seconds (max). DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Key off five minutes after repair. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. DEF doser valve harness connector.2. DEF metering unit failure.3. NOTE: This code sets when the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank temperature does not increase 0.5°C (0.9°F) within 300 seconds after the DEF tank coolant valve has bn commanded on. DESCRIPTION:DEF tank temperature – low. MONITORED PARAMETER:DEF tank temperature. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:1. Coolant valve commanded open.2. Coolant temperature greater than 70°C (158°F).3.
