EGR valve actuator.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
EGR valve actuator internal self test at start up.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditiosn met.

TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

NOTE: If code 168-1 present, fix that first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Cranking and/or charging system of the truck.
2. EGR valve actuator pull rod.
3. Inspect for exhaust leaks around the EGR valve, repair as needed.
4. EGR valve failure.
5. Wiring between EGR valve and ECM.
