NOTE: The common powertrain controller (CPC) may have the same SPN as some motor control module (MCM) faults. The diagnostic service too makes the distinction between the MCM and CPC when diagnosing a fault.
NOTE: This diagnostic is typically MCM engine hours data higher than expected. This fault usually occurs after reprogramming the CPC or MCM. The internal clocks of the CPC or MCM do not match. After reprogramming either module, all fault codes must be cleared.
NOTE: This error usually occurs after an improper ECM programming. ECM must be programmed correctly, most often the internal clocks don’t match.
