TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Engine rpm = idle or higher.

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:Five seconds

ENGINE REACTION:No derate

VERIFICATION:Engine rpm = idle or higher.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:1. Faulty ITV motor.2. Faulty ITV position.3. Frozen (ice buildup) ITV butterfly.

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Air throttle valve harness.2. ITV harness connector.3. Intake throttle valve failure.4. Cold temperatures may falsly cause this code to appear.5. Intake throttle valve sensor.
