The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
• Oil pressure drops below factory limits for more than 8 seconds
Probable Causes:
1) Low oil level 2) Low oil pressure sensor 3) Low oil pressure sensor harness 4) If codes also active for barometric, atmospheric pressure, or boost pressure, repair those first 5) Verify 5V to all pressure sensors 6) Manually check engine for oil pressure to verify sensor is performing correctly 7) ECM connection/harness

•The timer for the PTO has expired and the engine has shut down.
Probable Causes:
1) ECM Connection/Harness 2) PTO timer programmed incorrectly 3) PTO timer operated correctly and shut down as it is programmed to do 4) Check engine light or PTO switch on lamp failure 5) Vehicle speed circuit/sensor 6) PTO switch circuit/sensor
This condition indicates that the battery circuit to the Engine Control Module (ECM) has a battery condition that is intermittent while the engine is running. If battery voltage disappears without returning, the ECM will not log this diagnostic code and the engine will shut down.
The ECM detects the following conditions:
•The ignition key switch is in the ON position. •The engine is running. •The engine is not cranking. •The ECM has been powered for at least three seconds.
The ECM will detect one of the following conditions:
•The battery voltage drops below 6 VDC for at least 0.50 seconds. •Three voltage readings in the past seven seconds were below 6 VDC.
Probable Causes:
1) ECM Connection/harness 2) Battery voltage at ECM 3) Truck battery or battery cable issue 4) Aftermarket engine protection switch 5) ECM Failure
This condition indicates that the SAE J1939 Data Link is not communicating correctly.
Probable Causes:
1) ECM Connection/Harness 2) Another device on the J1939 is causing problems (ABS, VORAD, Cab controller, etc…) 3) Wiring from data link connector to ECM
This condition indicates that the “Transmission Style” parameter is programmed to the Eaton Top 2 and any one of the following parameters are not programmed:
•”Auxiliary Output 2″ (Multi-Function Output #2) is not programmed to “Shift Solenoid”. •”Auxiliary Output 3″ (Multi-Function Output #3) is not programmed to “Lockout Solenoid”. •”Gear Ratios” not programmed
Probable Causes:
Program the “Transmission Style” parameter that is Eaton Top 2 to the correct setting. If an Eaton Top 2 Transmission is not used, program the correct “Transmission Style” parameter to the correct setting.
This condition indicates that the SAE J1922 data link is not communicating correctly.
Probable Causes:
1) ECM Connection/Harness 2) Another device on the J1939 is causing problems (ABS, VORAD, Cab controller, etc…) 3) Wiring from data link connector to ECM
