CAT 3126B Fault Code: 71-01 PID: Flash Code 47 SPN: FMI: Idle Shutdown Occurrence

After attempting to actuate the Injector Solenoids the ECM has detected one of the following: -An electrical short circuit to ground (to the engine Iron). – An internal injector solenoid electrical short circuit. – A short circuit to battery voltage.

CAT 3126B Fault Code: 71-14 PID: Flash Code 47 SPN: FMI: PTO Shutdown

The idle shutdown timer is intended to improve fuel economy by limiting idling time. The idle shutdown timer is a customer specified parameter that may be programmed for any period from 3 to 1440 minutes.

The timer is activated when all of the following conditions are met regardless of the position of the parking brake:

•The vehicle speed is zero.
•The engine is not in cold mode or dedicated PTO mode.
•The engine is not under load.

The timer can be reset by moving the vehicle or the timer can be reset by quickly depressing the accelerator pedal and releasing the accelerator pedal. The check engine lamp will begin to rapidly flash 90 seconds before the programmed time expires. During this 90 second time period, the following conditions can disable the timer:

•The clutch pedal is depressed.
•The service brake pedal is depressed.

Possible Causes:

1) ECM not programmed properly
2) Clutch or Brake pedal/sensor failure
3) Wiring for clutch and/or brake sensor position failure
4) Vehicle speed sensor failure (Speedometer not reading correctly)
5) PTO Switch or harness failure

CAT 3126B Fault Code: 84-00 PID: Flash Code 41 SPN: FMI: Vehicle Overspeed Warning

After attempting to actuate the Injector Solenoids the ECM has detected one of the following: -An electrical short circuit to ground (to the engine Iron). – An internal injector solenoid electrical short circuit. – A short circuit to battery voltage.

CAT 3126B Fault Code: 91-13 PID: Flash Code 28 SPN: FMI: Throttle Sensor Calibration

During the last 90 seconds of the idle shutdown mode after the Check Engine/Service Soon Lamp begins to flash, the brake or clutch pedal is depressed or released. NOTE: This diagnostic code represents an event and not Electronic system fault.

CAT 3126B Fault Code: 96-03 PID: Flash Code 00 SPN: 96 FMI: 3 Fuel Level Voltage High

The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following condition:

•The primary fuel level signal voltage is above the acceptable range for more than ten seconds.

The fuel level sensors are OEM installed components for the vehicle. The sensors are selectable through a customer programmable parameter and the customer programmable parameter may be protected by customer passwords.

Possible Causes:

1) Loose ECM Connection/Harness
2) Fuel level sensor failure
3) WIring between fuel level sensor & ECM
