The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects one of the following conditions: •The “Soft Vehicle Speed Limit” parameter is programmed to “No” and the vehicle speed exceeds the programmed “Vehicle Speed Limit” by more than 10 MPH for more than 20 seconds.•The “Soft Vehicle Speed Limit” parameter is programmed to “Yes” and the vehicle speed exceeds the programmed “Vehicle Speed Limit” by more than 15 MPH for more than 20 seconds. Probable Causes: 1) ECM Programmed incorrectly2) Speedometer is not reading engine speed correctly

The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions: •A timing calibration has been successfully completed.•The primary engine speed/timing sensor and the secondary engine speed/timing sensor are off by more than three degrees. Probable Causes: 1) Cluster gear is not properly aligned or it has damage2) If cylinder head was removed, backlash for camshaft be out of spec3) Engine speed sensors not installed properly

The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions: •A timing calibration has never been performed on a new ECM or the timing is off by more than three degrees. Probable Causes: 1) Speed/timing sensor not calibrated properly (Need CAT software to do this)2) Speed/timing sensor failure3) Speed/timing sensor harness failure

The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions: • Oil pressure drops below factory limits for more than 8 seconds Probable Causes: 1) Low oil level2) Low oil pressure sensor3) Low oil pressure sensor harness4) If codes also active for barometric, atmospheric pressure, or boost pressure, repair those first5) Verify 5V to all pressure sensors6) Manually check engine for oil pressure to verify sensor is performing correctly7) ECM connection/harness
