Volvo All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P203111 PID: ACM Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2

Volvo All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P203111 PID: ACM Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2

Circuit description
This diagnostic function indicates malfunction at the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor. The purpose of the exhaust gas sensor is to contribute the relevant temperatures required for the temperature regulated aftertreatment diesel particulate filter regeneration control. A faulty EGT sensor can result with a failed aftertreatment (DPF) regeneration.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
The voltage at pin A137:34 is less than 0.147705 V

Diagnostic operating conditions
Ignition key in ON position

Observable symptoms
Regeneration not possible

Probable cause
1) Wiring harness between component connector and electronic control unit (ECU) connector
2) Short circuit to ground, Signal wire
3) Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM)
