Volvo All Engines (2013 Emissions) Fault Code: P242F00 PID: EMS Diesel Particulate Filter Restriction – Ash Accumulation Bank 1

Circuit description
This function is used to determine the level of ash in the diesel particle filter. When the level of ash is too high, a cleaning of the filter is necessary. To determine the level of ash, three different signal/parameters is used; accumulated distance since last cleaning, accumulated time since last cleaning and a calculated value.
