PACCAR MX (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: U0011 CAN – Hardware or Software Malfunction on V-CAN2

SET CONDITIONS:
The PCI ECU detects a malfunction on the V-CAN2 network.

DIAGNOSTIC CONDITION:
This diagnostic runs once when the ignition is keyed on.

RESET CONDITION:
This DTC changes to inactive after the ignition is keyed off for at least 15 seconds and keyed on again, and the fault is no longer detected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
No or intermittent CAN communication on the V-CAN2 network caused by:
1. Wiring issues
2. Malfunction of an ECU connected VCAN2
