PACCAR MX (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: P0216 Fuel Injection Control – Malfunction Detected

SET CONDITIONS:
The PCI ECU (D420) detects that the fuel injection timing calculation is incorrect.

DIAGNOSTIC CONDITION:
This diagnostic runs continuously when the engine is running.

RESET CONDITION:
This DTC changes to inactive when the fault is no longer detected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Incorrect fuel injection control caused by a malfunction on a high-pressure fuel system component.
2. Faulty software. Reprogram ECU.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This DTC can become active if other fuel-system-related DTCs are active. Therefore, troubleshoot any other fuel-system-related DTCs first.
