DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects that there is EGR pressure when the engine is not running. MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR delta pressure. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Coolant temperature greater than 80°C (176°F) and ignition is cycled off for 10 seconds. MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:15 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:1. Run the engine until the coolant temperature is greater than 80°C (176°F).2. Turn the ignition off for 15 seconds.3. Turn the ignition on as a recheck for the fault code. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. EGR delta p sensor failure.2. EGR delta...

NOTE: This code sets after SPN 5246/FMI 15 is present and the speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph. DESCRIPTION:Regulatory fault ignored – final action pending. MONITORED PARAMETER:SCR and DPF sensors. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds DASH LAMPS:CEL ENGINE REACTION:40% derate, limited to 55 mph. VERIFICATION:1. Parked SCR efficiency test for extended SCR faults.2. High idle regeneration for DPF and NOx faults. NOTE: If code 3364-xx present, fix that first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Check all DEF supply lines for damage or leaks.2. DEF tank is contaminated with gas, diesel, water, etc…3. SCR outlet...
