NOTE: This fault indicates the Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM) has detected a sudden temperature shift on the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) outlet temperature sensor. The most likely cause is an intermittent wiring concern (poor terminal fit, corrosion, chaffing, etc.). NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code. NOTE: If 3246-3 or 3246-4 are active, fix those first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Check all wiring and connectors for the DPF outlet temperature sensor.2. DPF outlet temperature sensor.3.
