DESCRIPTION:This code sets when the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Outlet temperature is greater than 730°C (1346°F) for more than two seconds.
MONITORED PARAMETER:DPF Outlet Temperature Sensor.
EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions are met.
DASH LAMPS:1. CEL2. MIL
ENGINE REACTION:25% derate.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:1. Faulty DPF outlet temperature sensor.2. Fluid intrusion into the exhaust.3. Biased input for fuel mapping.4. Incorrect or over-contributing fuel injectors.5. Restricted air filter.6. Incorrect camshaft timing.
