Volvo All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P05EB00 PID: EMS Cold Start SCR Nox Catalyst Inlet Temperature Too Low

This diagnostic function indicates malfunction at the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor. The purpose of the exhaust gas sensor is to contribute the relevant temperatures required for the temperature regulated aftertreatment diesel particulate filter regeneration control. A faulty EGT sensor can result with a failed aftertreatment (DPF) regeneration.

1) Exhaust temperature, Lower than expected
