DESCRIPTION:This code sets when the camshaft position (CMP) sensor signal has timed out for an extended period of time. MONITORED PARAMETER:Camshaft position sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Engine idle MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:10 Seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL3. SEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine Idle: One minute. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Camshaft position sensor connector/harness.2. Camshaft position sensor.3. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Drain the fuel filter module by removing the fuel filters or opening the drain valve. Hand tighten the drain plug and prime the fuel filter with the hand pump.
