DESCRIPTION:Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) outlet temperature sensor circuit failed low. MONITORED PARAMETER:SCR outlet temperature sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Always enabled MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled TYPICAL DURATION:2 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25% VERIFICATION:Engine idle (1 minute). NOTE: If code 3246-15 active, fix that first. PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Inspect all connectors and wiring upstream of the ACM (SCR inlet temp, ATD harness 10-pin connector, VIH 47-pin connector, and ECM 120-pin connector).2. SCR outlet temperature sensor.3. DESCRIPTION:This fault code sets when the Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM) detects a momentary abnormal Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) outlet temperature reading. MONITORED PARAMETER:Selective Catalyst Reduction outlet temperature sensor. TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Non-regen mode MONITOR SEQUENCE:None EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met. TYPICAL DURATION:2 seconds DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL ENGINE REACTION:None VERIFICATION:SCR efficiency test. NOTE: This fault indicates that the ACM has detected a sudden temperature switch on the SCR inlet temperature sensor.
