Detroit DD16 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 558 FMI 4 (CPC) Short to Ground or an Open Wire

NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Short to groun between pin 6 of the Common Powertrain Controller #1 and pin 4 of the IVS.
2. Idle Validation Switch (Mounted on accelerator pedal).
3. Open wire between pin 3 of the Common Powertrain Controller #1 connector and the pin 5 of the IVS.
