Detroit DD15 EPA10 (2010-13) Fault Code: SPN 4363 FMI 3 (ACM) Selective Catalyst Reduction Outlet Temperature Sensor Circuit Failed High

DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when there is an open in the SCR outlet temperature circuit or a short to power on the SCR outlet temperature sensor signal circuit.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
SCR inlet temperature sensor.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always enabled

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Always enabled

TYPICAL DURATION:
2 seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%.

VERIFICATION:
Engine idle (one minute).

NOTE: If code 3246-15 active, fix that first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Inspect all connectors and wiring upstream of the ACM (SCR inlet temp, ATD harness 10-pin connector, VIH 47-pin connector, and ECM 120-pin connector).
2. SCR outlet temperature sensor.
3. SCR outlet temperature sensor connector/harness.
