NOTE: If code 96-2 appears after the fuel system was repaired or fuel filters changed, clear the codes and test drive to see if they come back.

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Below 25% fuel level.2. Fuel contamination (water, DEF, gas, coolant, etc…).3. Fuel leaks.4. Fuel level sensor.5. Fuel level sensor wiring/connector.
