DESCRIPTION:This code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects high oil temperature.

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Always enabled

TYPICAL DURATION:Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:None

VERIFICATION:Run the engine at 1200 rpm until coolant temperature reaches 49°C (120°F).

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Low oil level.2. Cooling system leaks.3. Engine fan failure.4. Coolant thermostat failure.5. Engine oil temperature sensor failure.6. Engine oil temperature sensor connector/harness.
