NOTE: If the sensor is removed, be sure to check the sensor tip for metal debris and clutch material and clean it if necessary.
NOTE: If this SPN and FMI are active, verify that the wiring from crankshaft position (CKP) sensor pin 1 to pin 73 of the motor control module (MCM) 120-pin connector and that the wiring from CKP sensor pin 2 pin of the MCM 120 – pin connector is correct.
PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Crankshaft sensor connector/harness.2. Crankshaft sensor.3. Swapped pins on the connector.
