Cummins ISM CM875 (2003-06) Fault Code: 295 PID: P108 SPN: 108 FMI: 2/2 Barometric Pressure – Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect. An error in the barometric pressure sensor signal was detected by the ECM.

At key-on, before the engine starts, the sensor readings for intake manifold pressure, exhaust gas pressure, and engine oil pressure are compared with the barometric pressure. This fault code occurs if the barometric pressure sensor reading is different from any two of the other three. This check is only done once after the keyswitch is turned on and before the engine is started. The engine oil temperature must also be at least 7?C [45?F] for this check to run.

Shop exhaust fans can cause this fault code to come active. Turn exhaust fans off when troubleshooting this fault code.

Possible repair:

1)Replace the barometric pressure sensor.

Cummins ISM CM875 (2003-06) Fault Code: 288 PID: P029 SPN: 19 FMI: 19 SAE J1939 Multiplexing Remote Accelerator Pedal or Lever Position Sensor System – Received Network Data In Error. The OEM vehicle electronic control unit (VECU) detected a fault with the remote accelerator.
Cummins ISM CM875 (2003-06) Fault Code: 287 PID: P091 SPN: 19 FMI: 19 SAE J1939 Multiplexing Accelerator Pedal Sensor Error. The OEM vehicle electronic control unit (VECU) detected a fault with its accelerator pedal.
Cummins ISM CM875 (2003-06) Fault Code: 286 PID: S231 SPN: 639 FMI: 13/13 The ECM expected information from a multiplexed device but only received a portion of the necessary information.
Cummins ISM CM875 (2003-06) Fault Code: 285 PID: S231 SPN: 639 FMI: 9/9 The ECM expected information from a multiplexed device but did not receive it soon enough or did not receive it at all.
Cummins ISM CM875 (2003-06) Fault Code: 284 PID: S221 SPN: 1043 FMI: 4/4 Engine Speed Sensor Supply Voltage Circuit – shorted low. Incorrect voltage detected on the ECM voltage supply line to the engine speed sensor.
