DESCRIPTION:Fuel quantity above normal operating range at idle.

MONITORED PARAMETER:Injector quantity

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:Engine idle and no vehicle speed.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:Two minutes

DASH LAMPS:MIL

ENGINE REACTION:No derate

VERIFICATION:Steady engine idle: Two minutes.

NOTE: If any other codes are active, fix those first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Intake manifold pressure sensor.2. Intake manfiold pressure sensor connector/harness.3. Failed EGR delta p sensor.4. EGR delta p sensor connector/harness.5. EGR Cooler failure.6. Inspect the entire exhaust system for leaks, including the EGR system.7. Inspect the entire air intake system for leaks, including the charge air cooler.8. Perform stationary regen.
