DESCRIPTION:EGR differential pressure too high (Low Box).

MONITORED PARAMETER:EGR delta pressure sensor.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:1. Start with engine off.2. Idle speed less than 900 rpm.3. Coolant temperature greater than 65°C (149°F).4. DPF zone 0.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:Once per drive cycle.

TYPICAL DURATION:20

DASH LAMPS:1. MIL2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:Shut engine off if it is running, start engine and warm it up by driving the vehicle such than coolant temperature is greater than 65°C (149°F), then let vehicle idle for greater than five minutes at less than 900 rpm.

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. EGR delta p sensor failure.2. EGR delta p connector/harness.3. EGR delta p pressure ports blocked.4. EGR valve failure.5. Inspect the EGR crossover tube and mixer pipe for excessive buildup. If excessive, replaced the EGR cooler.6. Inspect EGR system for leaks/damage/issues.
