ENGINE REACTION:Derate 10%

VERIFICATION:Road test the vehicle with coolant temperature above 65°C (149°F).

NOTE: The intake air temperature and charger air cooler temperature can increase if the vehicle is driven on steep inclines in lower gears.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:1. Low vehicle speed with high engine load.2. External CAC restriction.3. Internal CAC restriction.4. Fluid intrusion into the CAC.

PROBABLE CAUSES:1. Low vehicle speed with high engine load (steep grade climb).2. Fan operation.3. Winter front in high ambient temperatures.
